Obituary of John Lopizzo

John Lopizzo, 82, of Hamilton entered into God's loving care on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Hamilton Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Hamilton. Born in Newark, He lived in the Trenton area for most of his life. John served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Passaic Valley Storage for many years until his retirement. Son of the late Ruggerio and Lucy (Lavacca) Lopizzo and beloved husband of the late Lucy (Zito) Lopizzo, He is survived by a sister-in-law Rosalie Karp; a neice JoAnn Zavodnick and husband Steve. Also surviving are several other nieces and nephews. Rite of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday December 23 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Clergy from the area will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers Street, Trenton.
