Obituary of Peter Gennello

Peter J. Gennello, 83 of Mansfield Twp. died Sunday January 19, 2014 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center surrounded by his loving family Born in Trenton, he was a life long area resident Mr. Gennello served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Mushroom Transportation, Prime Point and the State of New Jersey as a truck driver retiring in 2009. Peter was a member of the Baron AA for 25 years. He enjoyed playing Poker, Pinochle and going on "Milk Runs" to Atlantic City. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his Grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Margaret Gennello, his loving wife of 60 years Joan and a son Dominic, He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Greco and husband Joseph, Lori Usarzewicz and husband Steve, three brothers, Dominic Gennello, Anthony Gennello and wife Rosemary, Rocco Gennello and wife Gil,one sister Albina Bothwell, a special care giver Irma Dalton, four grandchildren, Joseph and Gianna Greco and Brittany and Lindsay Usarzewicz. Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday January 24, 2014 from Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers Street, Trenton, NJ. 08611.(www.chambersderricocorrenti.com). Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery, Trenton. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
