So deeply saddened to see that John has passed. I knew him decades ago- before his son was born - but I knew that John had become a dad and that he was so proud his boy. I have only fond memories of working with him (and Nick Mellis) on environmental issues in Mercer County. He was a dedicated, hard worker and fun to hang with. Condolences to Joe and other family and friends.

Johnny, God bless you in this journey! I had not seen you in quite some time, but all my memories are good ones...that moppy head of blonde hair, glasses hanging off your face and that ever-present smile, that big, bright smile. As long as we remember that smile, your presence will always be among us. Until we see you again...Kev

My heart is deeply saddened over the loss of John. He and I along with Faith Corman valiantly fought the proposed Duck Iland Incinerator back in the early 90’s and with our combined dertimed effort defeated the plan. I was also a fellow Dead Head and loved John’s passion for the band. To this day my wallet never gets placed in my back pocket, I always have back support when I drive and when I sit in bad posture I always correct it quick because of John.

Dear Joe:
You dad was truly special. He will be missed by all of his patients. I was a patient of his for about three years, and he helped me get better. He was always there to listen to all the problems that I had and help me work through them. He was extremely proud of you. I remember his saying how happy he was that you had decided to follow in his footsteps. I moved to Arizona back in 2016, and he was always there to give me advice whenever I called. He always made time for me. He will truly never be forgotten by me. He was not only my doctor, but he was a good friend.

To the family of John,
I offer my prayers for the family andthe repose of the soul of John. I knew John in his days at Immaculate Conception School. He was a serious student and focused on what he did. He had a lovely Mother and I can still see the house on Hewitt St.
After John started his profession as chiropracter he often visited me at Immaculate. He has done much good for people and God will reward him for that. So to John, God says well done my good and faithful servant. My prayers to Joe . I am sorry I cannot attend this service. God bless all of you Sr. Barbara Furst

I have met hundreds of health care practioners during my career but Dr. John was a true healer. I knew this the moment I met him. I still can not believe he is gone. He not only talked the talk but walked the walk. After the disaster in Puerto Rico it felt good to send some money but he went there to see if he could be of service. He was the person we all hope we could be. No one could be a better father, son, or friend,he will be missed forever.

I was saddened to hear of John's passing. I had known John since grammar school days at Immaculate Conception and we even played on the same Pee Wee League Basketball team there (I was a few grades ahead of John in school).
Later, when I was in economic development, I worked with John on a few projects related to his offices at Broad & Beatty. He was always a gracious professional, great guy, and a class act. I remember how devoted he was to his mom and later his son.
I will keep the family in my prayers.
God Bless
