Obituary of Evelyn Damiano

Evelyn Damiano, 82 of Hamilton, entered into God's loving care on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center of Hamilton. Born in Mount Carmel, Pa., Evelyn moved to the Trenton area when she was eighteen years old. She was employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Higher Education as a student loan collection specialist. Evelyn belonged to the Hamilton Seniors. She enjoyed shopping and talking on the phone with family and friends. She loved day trips to the beach and swimming at the YMCA, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Damiano, two sisters, Helen Lungaro and Stella Moskowitz, two brothers, Jerry and Edward Jarosiewicz, a grandson, Joshua Damiano, and her son-in-law, Michael Compagnucci, she is survived by her son Richard Damiano and wife Donna; two daughters, Lynne Compagnucci and Janice Lawrence and husband Jim Jr.; two grandchildren, Nicole Foster and husband Joe and Michael Damiano; a great granddaughter, Avery Foster and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 11am, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 (located in the Brenna-Cellini facility). Clergy from the area will officiate. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home. .
