Obituary of Anthony P Aiello

Anthony P. “Babe” Aiello, 82, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.

Babe, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was employed with the 

Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission prior to his retirement. He also worked as an upholsterer for various shops in the area.  

Anthony was an excellent cook, enjoyed crabbing, fishing and spending time in his garden.

Predeceased by his parents Carmen and Maria (Riva) Aiello, his siblings, Victor Aiello, Lucy Maurio and Frank Aiello and his wife, Angelina (Narciso) Aiello, he is survived by his children, Judy Martin and husband Randy, Jeffrey Aiello and wife Cindy and Christopher Aiello; four step-daughters, Grace, Filipina, Reinalyn and Renz; one sister, Jeannie Baiera and husband Charles; his sister-in-law, Carmela Aiello;  five adored grandchildren, Claudia and husband Brian, Amy and husband Seth, Jeffrey and wife Danielle, Rebecca and husband Jared and Tara; eleven cherished great-grandchildren; his special niece, Kathy Tazza and husband Anthony, his special cousin, Frank Molino; his dear friends, the King family; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am Monday, October 29, 2018 from D’Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619, located in the Hamilton Brenna Cellini facility.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, October 29, at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 29 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
