Obituary of William David Benson

William David Benson, 49, of Trenton, entered into God’s care Monday, July 1, 2019 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.

Mr. Benson was born July 30, 1969 in Trenton, NJ, and was a graduate of Hamilton High School West Class of 1989.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996.

Mr. Benson was formerly employed as a roofer for various roofing companies in the area.

He was an avid Giant’s Football fan and designated grill master at family picnics.

Son of the late Donald Benson, he is survived by his mother, Lillian (Hochschild) Benson; his siblings, James Hochschild, Gregory Benson, Donald Benson and wife Evelyn, Mariann Silvani and husband Art and Larry Benson. Also survived by girlfriend Ann Marie Eggert, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 11th from 8 am to 9:45 am at the funeral home at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ  08619, located in the Brenna Cellini facility.

Burial will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road

Newtown, PA 18940 on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 am.
