Obituary of Jose Miguel Gonzalez

Jose Miguel Gonzalez, age 61, of Trenton passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Capital Health System at Fuld of Trenton, NJ.  Miguel as he was affectionately known was born September 29, 1957 in Patillas, Puerto Rico and moved to Trenton, NJ at an early to reside. He is the son of the late Domingo and the late Paula (Morales) Gonzalez. 

Miguel worked at Spencer’s Paving and Construction until his retirement. Miguel’s past time was spent roasting pigs or in Spanish asando puercos. He enjoyed listening to Felipe Rodriguez, watching WWE Wrestling, westerns and El Chavo. Miguel was a very happy family- oriented man. He never refused to help anyone in need and was always a phone call away.

He is survived by one daughter: Kayla Zeno; two brothers, Domingo Jr. and Vicente; three sisters, Jovita Ramos, Sylvia Rivera and Iraida Cruz and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 25 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ. Clergy from St. Joseph’s Parish will be officiating.

Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 25 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
