Obituary of Edward Martel

Edward C. Martel, 99, of Browns Mills, entered into God's Care Friday, June 20, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Martel was an Army veteran serving during World War II. Ed along with his late wife Theresa were the proprietors of Martel's Grocery Store in East Trenton for over thirty years. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all he was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Predeceased by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and his loving wife Theresa (Geraci) Martel; he is survived by his children, John Martel and wife Sharon and Rosalie Sandor and husband Jerry; four grandchildren, Laurie, Joey and wife Holley, John, Jr., and Bobby and wife Dianne; three great grandchildren, Hunter, Alexia and Logan and many nieces and nephews.
