Obituary of Vincent B Pucciatti

Vincent B Pucciatti, 94 of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Friday, March 6, 2020 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident, prior to moving to Clarksburg with his daughter and son-in-law. Mr. Pucciatti proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Hospital Corpsman. He was formerly employed with the City of Trenton, Board of Education as a custodian for many years prior to his retirement from Washington School in Chambersburg section of Trenton. Mr. Vincent, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends was a longtime active parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, where he ushered for many years and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was President of Trenton Board of Education Custodial Union, for over thirty years. He was loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed being with his family and loved spending his summers at the beach in Brigantine. Predeceased by his parents, Leonida and Luisa (Spoglianti) Pucciatti, his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Rosemarie Pucciatti, his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Paul Khauli and his loving devoted wife of nearly 71 years, Jean (Pilenza) Pucciatti, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Leonard & Melinda Pucciatti; Joseph & Sandra Pucciatti; Lisa & John Bronski; his grandson, John Bronski & wife Brittany; his granddaughter, Rachel Pucciatti; two adored great-grandchildren, Johnny and Nina; . also survived by brother-in-law, Eugene “Sonny” Pilenza many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rite of Reception will be celebrated 9:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611, followed by calling hours until 10:15 am. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. Joachim Church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
