Obituary of Shawn M Scaccetti

Shawn M. Scaccetti, 61, of Bordentown, entered into God’s care Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was formerly employed with Mercer County Board of Social Services for over thirty-five years of service, prior to her retirement, as a Supervisor. Shawn had a green thumb and loved spending time in her garden, planting flowers around her home, trips to the beach and Atlantic City, but her greatest love was tending to the needs of her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. Predeceased by her father, Richard Skillman and her brother Mark Skillman, she is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marie and Robert Malloy; her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Robert Scaccetti; her daughter and son-in-law, Marissa and Patrick Moore; her son, Dylan Scaccetti and Alexis Kalargheros; her adored grandchildren, Lucas, Bennett and Maddox; three sisters, Amy Raspatello and husband Ralph, Patti DiMassa and husband Jerry and Laurie Skillman; also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ferdinand and Linda Scaccetti, several nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends. Cremation and Burial were held private, due to the COVID-19 virus and gathering restrictions. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish-St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ on Saturday June 12, 2021 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to join with the family at 10:45am at the Church for a remembrance of Shawn's life, prior to the Mass. Arrangements have been entrusted to D’Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road, Hamilton, NJ, located in the Buklad Merlino facility.
