Obituary of Gloria May Stanziale

Gloria May Stanziale, 89, of Hamilton, entered into God’s care Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, from conditions not related to Covid-19. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Gloria was formerly employed with Theradex Systems, Inc, in Princeton, for many years prior to her retirement. She was an excellent homemaker, she enjoyed reading, walking and traveling worldwide with her late husband Louis and special friends, Ray and Helen Barnard. Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Louis C. Stanziale, her parents, Vincenzo and Anna (DelBorgo) Schiariti, her step-mother, Mary Mengoni, her brother Donald Schiariti, two sisters in-law and a brother-in-law, Connie Geoghan and Joan and Thomas Stanziale, her grandsons, Dylan and Taylor Firkins, her nephew, Thomas N. Stanziale. Gloria is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Ann Mangual and Cynthia and Todd Firkins of Poulsbo, WA; her grandchildren, Monica Frank and husband, Brian, Mark Mangual of Curitiba, Brazil, Marissa Mangual, Darek and Brent Firkins. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dolores Schiariti, her brother-in-law, Donald Geoghan, special cousins, Lorraine Lee and Sr. Mary Amadeo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Raphael’s/Holy Angels Parish, 3500 S. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private funeral services and burial were held at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
