Obituary of Louise Russo

Louise Russo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 9th at the age of 86. Louise was born December 25, 1933 in Trenton, NJ where she resided for 64 years. Louise is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 64 years, Victor Russo. Louise was preceded in passing by her parents Raymond and Lena Martelloni, brothers Alex and Raymond Martelloni and sister Lucy Marsilio. She is survived by her daughter Michele Headrick and husband Jeffrey, her son Michael Russo and wife Joyce, and her son Mark Russo and wife Patty. She also leaves behind grandchildren Megan Condrat and John Heinrich, Robert Riehl and wife Sarah, Jason Russo, Rebecca Ahlemeyer and husband Larry, Erin Russo, Molly Russo, Hailey Headrick, Kerry Headrick, Tammy Little and great-grandchildren Madison Condrat, Violet Riehl, Anthony Russo and Aaron Russo. Louise spent her life dedicated to her husband, children, grand-children and great-grand-children. She was an avid bowler, story teller, Yahtzee player and coffee drinker. She loved collecting Lenox and watching her soap operas and spent Sunday afternoons drinking coffee, gossiping and cooking with her mom and sister. While others dedicate their lives to education and/or their careers, Louise dedicated her life to her family and friends and raising her children and grand-children. Her greatest joys in life came from being surrounded by her family and friends. We will miss her smile, her laugh, her jokes and her hilarious “Mommom-isms”. Calling hours will be held from Thursday, July 16th from 9:30am to 12:30pm followed by funeral service at 12:30pm at D'Errico Funeral Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ, located in the Buklad-Merlino Facility. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Trenton. Due to the global pandemic and in consideration of our elderly and immunocomprised family and friends, facial masks and social distance practices are required.
