Obituary of Pauline Capasso

Pauline T. (Biondi) Capasso, 93, of Hamilton, entered into God's Care Friday, July 4, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. Pauline was born in Renova, Pennsylvania, but grew up on Roebling Avenue in the Chambersburg section of Trenton - which is where she lived for most of her life with her husband of 60 years, Joseph F. Capasso, who passed away in 2003. She has resided in Hamilton since his passing with her loving daughter and son-in law, Elaine and Richard Urbani, and two cherished grandchildren, Adrien and Camille Urbani. Pauline was formerly employed with Western Union in Trenton for 40 years. After retiring she devoted her time to helping raise her grandchildren. She was an excellent homemaker, known for her homemade gnocchi, and also for her quick wit and love of the Phillies - both of which she carried with her until the very end. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her parents, Augusto and Natalina (Vigilanti) Biondi; her twin brother Paul, twin sister and brother Mary Procaccini and Jerry Biondi, brother William Biondi, and sister Yolanda Battisti. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Lawton, sister-in-law Catherine Capasso, and many nieces and nephews. Rite of Reception will be held Tuesday, 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Angels-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08611. Calling hours will follow from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at the church; there will be no calling at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Angels-Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
