Carol Ann (Carey) Derrico, 72 of Hamilton entered in God’s care Monday, December 21, 2020 at her residence with her loving by her side.
Mrs. Derrico was born in Trenton, resided in Hamilton, prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she resided for 10 years before returning to Hamilton.
She was formerly employed with the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury for over forty-five years, retiring as an Executive Administrative Assistant.
Carol was an excellent homemaker, she loved to read, enjoyed a good glass of wine, but her greatest love was being with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Anthony Joseph Derrico and her parents, Carl and Ann (Kelly) Carey, she is survived by her son, Anthony Derrico; her stepchildren, Deborah Derrico and Joseph Derrico; four adored grandsons, Brandon, Jason, Justin Williams and Nicholas Derrico; her loving sister, Doris Norton and husband Rich; one sister-in-law, Patricia Cirillo; a special cousin, Walter Swiss and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, a Private Mass of Christian burial for family only will be celebrated 10:30 am on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Our Lady of The Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611.
There will be no calling hours.
