Obituary of Mary DeMarco

Maria De Marco HAMILTON - Maria Vaccaro Notte De Marco, 95, of Hamilton entered into God's care Friday, June 27, 2014, at Compassionate Care Hospice of Trenton, with her loving family at her side. Born and educated in Casteltermini, Sicily, she immigrated to the United States in 1959 with her husband and children. Maria lived in the Trenton area for the past 55 years and was employed as a seamstress for Baxter Clothes until her retirement many years ago. She was a member of the San Calogero Society and Our Lady of the Angels Parish. She loved to read, cook and spend time with her family and friends, including her two dogs, Lucky and Buster. Maria was predeceased by her parents, Carlo and Rosalia Giambrone Vaccaro Notte; her husband of 54 years, Salvatore; five sisters, Teresa Nocito, Giuseppina Butera, Calogera Varsalona, Vincenza Gaetani, and Rosa Messina; and three brothers, Giuseppe, Ignazio, and Vincenzo Vaccaro Notte. She is survived by a son, Frank De Marco and wife, Janet, with whom she resided; a daughter, Enza Caserta and husband, Tony; a granddaughter, Lisa Hezel and husband, Chris; a grandson, Chris De Marco; two stepgrandchildren, Joseph Caserta and Nicholas Caserta and fiancee, Agatha Gasior, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Maria's caretakers, Pauline Williams from Mercer Street Friends and Robin Klose, for the loving and tender care they provided Maria over the past several years. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at Chambers D'Errico & Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler St.,Trenton. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 2, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
