I've lived in my condo below Betty for over 10 years. Throughout that time, Betty and I would "meet" in the backyard, me chatting from my patio, she from above on her balcony. I miss her presence already. She like to talk about the animals who would visit us...our resident bunny, chipmunk, the occasional cat and fox and a whole family of deer. When I first moved in I discovered pieces of bread all over the lawn and soon realized she would feed them. Well, she rubbed off on me because I found myself buying the 99 cent bread that she recommended to feed them as well. Last summer, a group of bucks and a couple does (one pregnant) would visit us nightly around 8pm for their feeding. Betty would comment how the bucks got so comfortable that they would lie on the grass and wait for us. She would reliably show up for them every night.

Betty was my neighbor. She was the first neighbor I met when my daughters and I moved here 14 years ago. She was always so sweet and funny. We use to sit outside together every Halloween up until covid to pass out candy together so we didn’t have to keep running up and down the stairs. She always kept lovely flowers between our two doors and my 3 year old grandson would always stop to smell them even if they were artificial. We will miss her.

I met Betty “Mother Springsteen” about 10 or so years ago at our Foxmoor pool and many neighbor gatherings. If Betty was around, you were laughing. She was so funny, so sweet and so gracious. She will be dearly missed but her spirit and humor will be with us always. Love you “Mother Springsteen!”

Betty was my neighbor and friend for many years. I could never thank her enough for all the help she gave me during the time I knew her. Most especially last year when I broke my shoulder. Taking me and my Mom wherever we had to go while I couldn’t drive. That was Betty. Always ready to help. I miss her terribly and will for a very long time.
My sincere condolences to Betty’s family on their loss. I am sure she will continue to watch over you.

I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I worked with Betty in the 60's and 70's at ETS. We just reconnected in the past year or so and would meet for lunch with a few other former coworkers. Betty never changed even after not seeing her for a number of years. Always a fun time when Betty was around. I will miss seeing her. I know we all have a number of great memories and they will always be with us. My sincere condolences to the family. Laura Burd (I was Lenz back in those days)
