Ellen A. Lovejoy (Kramer) 63, of Hamilton NJ, died November 6, 2022 at RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Originally from Collingswood, NJ. Ellen graduated from Rutgers University College of Arts in Camden. Aside from being an English major Ellen booked entertainment events, hiring such artists as Michael Redgrave, The Byrds, Steve Forbert and Warren Zevon.

Ellen left journalism in 2002 and enjoyed various communication positions in State Government, including the Department of Community Affairs, Banking and Insurance and her last position as Public Information Officer/ Spokeswoman for the Department of Human Services.
Ellen loved the beach and loved to travel. New Orleans was one of her favorite places. Ellen loved jazz and rock music and could sing the lyrics to hundreds of songs by various artists including tunes by Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. Elvis Costello was her favorite. Most especially, she loved the piano playing of her husband and the laughs they shared with each other every day for the last 35 years.
Ellen displayed bravery and dignity in the face of extreme insult to her mind and body during the past sixteen months. Because of her strength of spirit and irreverent humor she persevered until it was time for her to let go.
