Obituary of Neil J Sanvardine

Neil J. Sanvardine, 61, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident and graduated from McCorristin High School. Neil was a Corrections Officer who retired from the NJ State Prison after more than 20 years of service. He was a longtime volunteer with Signal 22. He was an avid NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboy’s fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his spare time. Predeceased by his father, Neil S. Sanvardine; he is survived by his mother, Rose (Rapisaldi) Sanvardine; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Mike Owen; nieces, Jaclynn Kirtland and her husband Shawn, and Sara Owen; nephew, Kevin Owen; great nephew, Jacob; uncles and aunts, Mary K. and Tom Pacia, Rita and Jeff Hewitson, and Jerry and Joann Sanvardine; as well as many cousins and dear friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:15 am at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, 08611, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Parish-Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton, 08611.
