Obituary of Nicholas Durastanti

Nicholas D. Durastanti, 88, of Trenton, entered into God's Care Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Durastanti was a self employed roofing/tinsmith contractor. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrow/St Anthony's Parish. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Briar Patch Hunting Club and a NY Football Giants Fan. Predeceased by his parents, Armando and Luviggia (Rossi) Durastanti, his siblings, Mary DiFranco, Armando Durastanti and Norma Tallone, his loving wife of 62 years, Ann (Mastalesz) Durastanti, he is survived by children, Nicholas Durastanti & wife Pat, Armand Durastanti & wife Donna and Karen Willoughby & husband George; four grandchildren, Nicholas Durastanti, III and wife Elizabeth, Emily Goyker and husband Paul, Leah Durastanti and Sarah Durastanti; five great-grandchildren, Layna, Samantha, Hanna, Anna and Joseph; one sister, Josephine Santini; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Erickson Durastanti and Laura Dearden and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 8:30 am Monday, December 30 from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ, located in the Brenna-Cellini Facility. Mass of Christian will be celebrated 9:30 am Monday at St. Anthony's Church, 626 South Olden Avenue in Hamilton. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Calling hours will be Sunday, December 29 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
