Obituary of Doris Zoda

Doris H. Zoda, 91 of Hamilton, entered into God's Care Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Genesis Eldercare Mercerville Center in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Hamilton resident. Mrs. Zoda was employed with Kramer Trenton Company and retired from the State of New Jersey Public Advocates Office. Doris enjoyed vacationing and trips to Atlantic City. She loved her Saturday nights dancing at the Marrow Inn with her gang, but most of all Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Vera Hartman Johnson, her husband, Louis G. Zoda, her beloved sister, Marie Chiaramonti and her grandson, Christopher Dunlap, she is survived by her two daughters & sons-in-law, Donna & Harry Parkin and Karen & William Shevchuk; grandchildren, Kimberly Wolverton and husband Charles, Jeffrey Shevchuk and Jason Shevchuk and wife Laura and Mary Anne Dunlap; three great grandchildren, Kyle & Michael Wolverton and Olivia Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday January 23 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ, 08619. Clergy from the area will officiate. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
