Obituary of Italia Marino

Italia Marino, 75, of Mansfield Township, entered into God's loving care Friday, April 24, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Favignana, Sicily Italy, she resided in the Trenton area after moving to the United States in 1956. Italia was employed as a seamstress for various businesses in the area retiring in 1997 and belonged to many organizations including The Saint Joseph's Altar Society. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, Facebooking, and most of all her family and dear friends. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her parents, Mauro and Giovanna (Roccia) Valenza, two sisters, Catarina and Maria Valenza, a brother, Andrea Valenza, a sister- in- law, Joann Scarlotta and a brother-in- law Joseph Marino. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty eight years, Charles Marino; and former husband Pasquale Campo, children Maria Bua (Antonino Bua), Vincenzo and Mauro Campo, Antoinette Anselmo and husband Michael, Giuseppina Grobels (Scott E. Grobels) and Angelo Marino and wife Joann; two brothers, Domenico and Giacomo Valenza; three sisters, Rosaria, Anna, and Giuseppina Valenza; eight grandchildren, Rosanna and husband Marcus, Salvatore, Patrizio and fiance' Jessica, Assunta and husband Jake, Nicholas and Fiance' Angelina, Danielle and husband Greg, Nicholas and wife Khalena, and Christopher, and Alissa and (Scott C); seven great grandchildren, Antonino, Giovanni, Lemon, Adler, Brayden, Samantha and Gianna; sisters-in-law, Philomana, Maria and Gina, and Michelina. The funeral will be held 8:30 am Thursday, April 30 at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. (located inside the Brenna-Cellini facility) A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 29 East Paul Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. Entombment will be in Ewing Church Cemetery Mausoleum, Ewing Township. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 29 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at the funeral home
