Obituary of Francis Rodriguez

Francis "Frankie" Rodriguez, age 49, of Trenton entered into God's Care on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at home. Born in Guanica , Puerto Rico , He lived in the Trenton area most of his life He was formerly employed by Mercer Wrecking. Frankie was a former member of the Guardian Angels in the Trenton area and he also volunteered at the Trenton Area Soup kitchen for the past five years. He was affectionately known by his family as Plunso, Fufa and Leon. Frankie enjoyed listening to 80's music which included his favorite artists Salt & Pepa. He also enjoyed hanging out with family and friends on Houghton Avenue where he was raised. Frankie is fondly remembered by his wind breaker outfits, red beret, breakdancing competitions and his boom box on his shoulder. Predeceased by his mother Fermina "Flora" Ramos, he is survived by a son Francis Louis Rodriguez; his father Francis Rodriguez, three brothers, Angel, Wilson and Jeronimo, five sisters: Wanda L Villanueva, Flor D. Rodriguez-Martel and Angela, Susana and Amores Rodriguez. He is also survived by his loving companion of eight years Rosemary "Peaches" Williams. The funeral will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Chambers D'Errico & Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers Street, Trenton, NJ with officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady Of Lourdes Cemetery , Hamilton Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
